Mr. Samarendra Nath Goswami Advocate

 

Mr. Samarendra Nath Goswami is the founder of Bangladesh International Mediation Society BIMS. Bangladesh International Mediation Society BIMS is the self-contributed organization.

Mr. Samarendra Nath Goswami was born on 1st January, 1953 at Naogaon in a respectable Hindu family and schooling Devanagari language. He obtained M.A.(Edn.), LL.B, B.Ed., LL.M degree from University of Dhaka and university of Rajshahi respectively.

Goswami is an Advocate Appellate Division, Supreme Court of Bangladesh and is a specialized Counsel & party appointed neutral arbitrator, commercial mediator and adjudicator.

He has facilitated commercial mediation & has extended advisory to local law firms on ADR mechanism. Goswami actively participates & promotes mediation & arbitration as well as other ADR mechanism in Bangladesh as an ADR enthusiast. Goswami also writes and speaks on dispute regulation topics.

He is the founder of Naogaon Law College, Bangladesh and also founder and Chairman of Goswami Mediator’s & Arbitrator’s Society. He is the Co-chairman of Africa-Asia Mediation Association.

Goswami is the founder editor and publisher of a monthly law journal “Bangladesh Law Times” and is the author of “Bahai Personal Law”. He is the life member of i) Bangla Academy, ii) Bangladesh Red Crescent Society, iii) Rajshahi University Registered Graduate, iv) ISKCON v) Muktijoddha Jadughar.
